QB S Damar Hamlin is a contender for Comeback Player of the Year, while Josh Allen has been declared a finalist for NFL MVP in 2023

Josh Allen, the quarterback, is once again a nominee for MVP. The winner will be announced at NFL Honors in Las Vegas during Super Bowl week, and the quarterback for the Bills is one of three contenders.

In the MVP vote, Allen placed second in 2020 and third in 2022.

Allen led the NFL in yards (4,830) and total touchdowns (44) in his sixth season, helping the Bills win the AFC East for the fourth time in a row with an 11-6 record.

Throughout the season, Allen broke a number of records; these are a few notable ones:

158.3 passer rating, which was flawless, versus the Dolphins in Week 4.
He recorded 300+ passing yards, four+ passing touchdowns, one+ running touchdowns, and a perfect passer rating in one game, making him the second player in NFL history to do it.
overtook legendary quarterback Steve Young to become the second-most-ever QB to rush touchdowns in history.

NFL record with 10 games in a season, 1+ throwing touchdown, and 1+ running touchdown.
made NFL history by being the first player to score 40 touchdowns in a single season four times.
He broke the NFL record in his ninth career game of 300+ yards passing and 50+ yards running against the Dolphins in Week 18.

Security Additionally, Damar Hamlin has been nominated as one of the Comeback Player of the Year finalists.

During the Buffalo game against Cincinnati on January 2, 2022, Hamlin suffered a heart collapse and required on-field resuscitation. However, he miraculously returned to the NFL.

During the first several months of his recuperation, the safety miraculously improved. When training camp rolled around, Hamlin was back out on the field working out with his other players. This season, the Pittsburgh product appeared in five games for Buffalo.

from the NFL Honors the previous year, Hamlin, the training and medical staffs of the Bills and Bengals, as well as the personnel from the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, were honored.

The NFLPA’s Alan Page Community Award, which is given to a player who goes above and above to complete community work in his hometown and club city, was also given to Hamlin last year. An NFLPA contribution of $100,000 was made to Hamlin’s nonprofit, Chasing Ms.
